a happy new year

& we did not spend christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, rather we hunkered down in Hall Place studios for a few days, ice biting at our fingers as we spat this song onto tape. Richard Formby taking charge once more: bleeding radiators in a desperate effort to ease all our aching joints and bring us back from breaking points. We worked hard on this one, and theres alot in there to catch out. Many thanks again to Richard, who's final mix was a perfomance in itself, as he endeavoured to maintain crumbling tape loops, keeping them intact till the song had run its course.
